Primary School Golf Trials at Nowra
The South Coast Primary Golf trials were held at Nowra Golf Club on 20th July. There were nine starters in the event this year, all vying for a position on the south coast team to compete in the State Championships in the Blue Mountains in September.
Out of the nine starters John Bond was able to pick six players to travel to Blackheath for the State Championships. John is excited about the chances of the team this year and is hoping to improve on the sixth place at the event last year. “I expect the team to perform better this year as some of the players have already experienced the next level last year,” he said.
The following players were successful in qualifying for the State Championships in September: Eithan Harvey, Blake Halls, Jye Halls, Jayden Granger, Reilly Brown, Lachlan Barr and Selena Bosevski. I wish all of the players attending the State Championships in Blackheath all the very best of luck.
