Jeffrey Guan, Rachel Lee Named Juniors of the Year

Jeffrey Guan (The Australian) and Rachel Lee (Avondale) have been named Jack Newton Junior Golf Players of the Year for the 2022 season.
On a wonderful day at Concord Golf Club, more than 150 people took part in the annual Jack Newton Sponsors Golf Day and Presentation Dinner, where the legacy of Jack Newton was celebrated by everyone involved. With past and present players, club representatives and JNJG Sponsors all striding the fairways together, Jack would have been looking down on everyone with a big smile on his face.
After the annual Sponsors Golf Day saw Luke Grinham, Josh Todd, Charlotte Perkins and Charlotte Brownlow claim victory in a brand new format, the night headed inside for the Presentation Dinner where the kids were the stars.
Led by brilliant MC's Charlotte Perkins, Arki Valdy, Lili Kremmer, Josh Todd, Robyn Keen and Daley Loumanis, the juniors impressed as they took the guests through a recap of the 2022 season, highlighted by Guan and Lee taking out the big awards.
The crowd were also treated to a wonderful and honest Q & A with former Jack Newton Junior Golf star Harrison Crowe, who basically stepped right off the plane after his success at the Asian Pacific Amateur and wanted to give straight back to his fellow JNJG members.
