Come and Try Day Success
On 22nd September Beverley Park Golf Club conducted a Come and Try afternoon for some young kids that wanted to give golf a go. Around fifteen kids turned up all ready to see what golf was all about and to see if they enjoyed it.
The kids got to try out putting and some pitch shots to start with and were lucky enough to get some expert advice from the Head Professional, Greg Green. The kids seemed to pick up the skills quite quickly and looks like the club may have fun some future stars.
Once they tried out those skills the kids headed out to the course to give chipping a go on some real holes with real golf balls. They all seemed to enjoy being out on the course and many look forward to coming back for more clinics in Term 4.
