Hunter Academy of Sport
Reid Brown’s golf game has continued to go from strength to strength in recent months with strong results across all events played.
Reid recently participated in the High Schools Championships and continues to place well in most events since making the decision to leave his strong cricket NSW position to chase his golfing dreams.
In the past season at the Hunter Academy of Sport Reid developed strong skills and took on board new ideas helping him to fast track his development. On top of this Reid is highly regarded amongst his peers and has grown into a key leader at the Academy.
Reid will again be part of this season’s Hunter Squad and it is hoped he will push for selection in next years JNJG Development Squad.
“Reid has shown all of us great enthusiasm for development, his athleticism and ability to adapt set him apart in last seasons program. He asks questions and wants to be the best he can be. This award is testament to his growth and I am confident it will boost his drive for continued growth in the coming season” said Mark Ingrey, JNJG Territory Manager & Hunter Academy Golf Coach/Manager.
“I am so happy to receive this award, it shows I am heading in the right direction, I can’t thank Titleist/Footjoy enough and Hunter Academy for their support” said Reid.
Reid receives a great prize from Titleist Australia/New Zealand including:
12 Dozen Titleist Golf Balls, 12 Footjoy Gloves, 6 Footjoy Hats, 1 Pair Footjoy Shoes
