Regional Multi-Sport Day
Newcastle Universities Forum recently played host to the regions “Multi-Sport Day” which invites schools from across the Newcastle/Hunter and Central Coast region to participate in special needs classes sport.
The two days provides students with various physical and mental limitations to experience multiple sports within The Forum facility.
Jack Newton Junior Golf is always on hand to provide golf in a modified skill and fun session with many of the students experiencing golf for the first time.
“Each year we come along and each session is equally challenging and fun, the students have so much passion for being involved and the fun that both they and I have during the two days makes everything we do worthwhile” said Mark Ingrey (JNJG)
“I think this year was especially rewarding as a young girl in Year 4 from the Central Coast showed skill, passion and natural flare for golf, she even came back at the end of the day and asked me it she could have another go, while the teacher told me she had been talking about it all day” said Mark.
