Bega Junior Pennant team off to Newcastle
The Bega Encourage Shield Junior Pennant team has made it all the way through the state finals after defeating Howlong 4-2 in the decider. Bega will now compete in the state finals in Newcastle. This event will see the best Encourage shield teams from across the state compete for the title in January.
The Bega team was very strong in their regional Junior Pennants defeating Mollymook 4.5-.5 in the final. This strong team has continued that solid form to win there way through to the state final.
