Whitelock, Chau the Heroes at Howlong

A.C.T State Team players Harry Whitelock (Royal Canberra) and Sophia Chau (Gungahlin Lakes) have claimed victory at the 2024 Murray River Junior Masters. Whitelock needed a birdie on the final hole to defeat defending champion Blake Hodges (NSW GC) in a shoot-out for the ages, whilst Chau proved too good for her rivals with a come-from-behind two shot victory in the Girls Division.

2024 Murray River Junior Masters Underway

2023 Champion Blake Hodges (NSW GC) will look to defend his Murray River Junior Masters Title when it gets underway this afternoon at Howlong Golf Resort.
Nearly 50 of the Murray Region's most promising up-and-coming golfers and a handful of other hopefuls from across the state will flock to the NSW/Victorian border this week to participate in the fourth Jack Newton Junior Golf (JNJG) Junior Masters Series event of 2024.
The sun is set to be shining all weekend, with the champion boy and girl booking their ticket to the 2024 Bonville Champions Trophy in December.
