The JNJG Masters Points Race is designed to recognise players who are consistent performers in all JNJG Junior Masters Series Events in 2018.
JNJG will offer the winning Boy and Girl in the 12 & 13 Years, 14 & 15 Years, and 16 Years & Over Divisions an exemption and $500 scholarship to represent JNJG at the 2018 Greg Norman Junior Masters, run by Junior Golf Queensland on the Gold Coast in December.
The 11 Years and Under Division Points Race Winner will also be recognised, with the winning Boy and Girl receiving a $500 JNJG scholarship.
Eligibility Criteria
- Points will be allocated according to four divisions,11 Years & Under, 12 & 13 Years, 14 & 15 Years, 16 Years and Over.
- For the Masters Points Race, all participants will be placed in an age division according to the age they turn in 2018 (except for those competing in the new 11 Years & Under Division)
- Example. Joe Smith turns 16 on March 23rd, 2018. He will be placed in the 16 Years and Over division for the Masters Points Race. At the Wagga Wagga Junior Masters, Joe will compete in the 14 and 15 Years division as he is only 15 years old at the event, but when points are allocated for the Points Race, he is placed in the 16 Years and Over division.
- There is no minimum number of rounds required for the points race.
- If there is a tie at the end of the year, and more than one person finishes on the same number of points, the winner will be the person with the best Master of the Masters Average.
Points Allocation at each event in 2018
- Winner - 60 Points
- Runner Up - 40 Points
- 3rd > 5th - 30 Points
- 6th > 10th - 20 Points
- Outside Top Ten - 10 Points
